Whole30 Day 23/24

You know what feeling when you travel and get home and need to take an extra day to recover….the vacation hangover is what we call it in our house. Well, that didn’t happen this time and I’m pretty sure it had to do with eating well during our trip. That in itself was worth the last 23 days of Whole30.

We knew we’d be out of groceries when we arrived home and combated that problem by ordering from Amazon Fresh while waiting to board our plane. We ordered some sausage, steak, eggs, greens, and avocado and had them deliver it at 6am so we could cook as soon as we woke up. Talk about awesome. Whole30 has also taught me that planning is essential. I’ve taken to reminding myself that preparing good food is like setting an appointment with your boss. You don’t cancel on your boss unless there is a real emergency. I mean, really, who is more boss than your own body.
